Open daily from 06:00 to 19:00 WIB, the restaurant serves authentic Nusantara cuisine made from locally sourced Magelang ingredients, including its signature Ayam Bakar Nusantara (grilled chicken with traditional spices), Javanese noodles, and local Robusta coffee. The Sunrise Chicken Church package at Kedai Bukit Rhema offers a private dawn experience at the iconic Chicken Church (Gereja Ayam) in Bukit Rhema, Borobudur. Starting at 04:30 WIB — well before general tourists arrive — guests watch the sky change color above volcanoes Sindoro, Sumbing, Merapi, and Merbabu on the horizon. After sunrise, guests enjoy a halal Nusantara breakfast at the Kedai. The package is ideal for couples, families, and tour groups. Bukit Rhema is just 10 minutes from central Borobudur Temple and is widely considered one of the best sunrise viewpoints in the Borobudur area alongside Punthuk Setumbu.
